Welcome to Wye Bible Church Nursery!!

“Permit the children to come to me; do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to them” Mark 4:10

Mission Statement

To create a secure and loving environment for children to experience God’s unconditional love through play and laughter while providing parents an opportunity to refresh their spirit through corporate worship.

Nursery Ages

The nursery is available every Sunday during church service (except when we meet outside) for children ages birth to three years old. Children over the age of three are encouraged to attend Children’s Church during the church service.

Information Forms

Parents must fill out a child information form for each child in the nursery. We will request this be updated periodically to ensure the most up to date information on the children and families.

Check In

The nursery will open 10 minutes prior to the start of the service. Please be sure to sign your child in and obtain a paging number. Please label all items with your child’s name.

Check Out

The nursery will close 10 minutes after the conclusion of the church service. Please be prompt in receiving your children so the volunteers can close the nursery. Parents/guardians are asked to wait at the door to receive your child.

Illness Policy

It is the goal of Wye Bible Church to ensure a safe and healthy environment for your child. We ask that you do not bring your child to nursery if your child has had a fever or vomited in the past 24 hours, has been on antibiotics for less than 24 hours, any unexplained rash, symptoms of childhood diseases (such as chicken pox, whooping cough, measles, etc), pink eye, head lice, runny nose with colored discharge, or any skin infection.

Emergencies

If there is an emergency or your child is inconsolable, a nursery worker will page you with your child’s assigned number.

Staffing

It is the policy that there will always be at least two volunteers in the nursery – either two adults or one adult and one youth. We greatly appreciate parent volunteers as regular congregant members.
